why exactly does the server reset doesn't it kinda elimante the point of grinding on the server if ur progress is gonna be wiped

I understand how you feel, but resets have proven to be quite beneficial for both the server and its community. Resets provide a sense of renewal and fairness to the overall gameplay experience, offering everyone a fresh start and equal opportunities. Not only this, but resets also serve as an opportunity to introduce major updates and improvements to the game mode.

Resets also give you a chance to have satisfaction of grinding to get the best possible stuff and make all new games to get richer then you were in the last season of survival.

SVAs/SSVs still can be saved with resets.

Resets also give everyone a fresh start and noobs who stood no chance the season before could actually be stronger with the reset because everyone has nothing except for some SVAs which are locked away for the first two weeks of reset.

could we perhaps do a SERVER WIDE poll stating:
should we be given a vault which can store a limited number of ANY item these will be saved for next season these would open a couple weeks before reset.

No, there's zero point in this considering most lower-value items that don't go in SVA/SSV vaults don't take at all a long time to obtain other than boss drops, which almost no one uses anyway. It also just makes SVA/SSV items pointless since their whole appeal is to be taken between seasons.

The reset will be soon since it's been about a year since the last reset and that's around how long they usually take for most realms

Skyblock and survival usually have a longer period, then one year for the server to reset. Right now, its been like 1 year and 3 months since the last survival reset. And skyblock is usually 1.5 years.
